MYKONOS is one of the many islands that make up about one-fifth of Greece's land area. M�konos is part of the Cyclades, a larger island group in the southern Aegean Sea. Visitors come to the islands to enjoy the warm climate and sunlit natural beauty, making tourism a major part of the economy of the Aegean Islands.  The windmills and classic whitewashed homes form a backdrop for the sea and its treasures (fishing, tourism etc.).  Truly this small jewel of an island reveals one of the purist ways of Greek life.
